This morning I read the story of Jesus turning water into wine. Yet about twenty years ago I said no to alcohol, and I have been saying no since. First, I want to say that I don't believe the Bible prohibits drinking alcohol. It clearly does prohibit getting drunk, and it calls on Christians to follow the law as far as their conscience allows them. So, if you're under 21 or you sometimes drink too much, there's no wiggle room here. As you live into the grace and peace of Christ, listen for his calling on your life as it relates to alcohol. My reasons for not drinking are based on my desire to follow Christ.
